Hi, I'm
Embedded Software Engineer
Control & Automation graduate (HUST), specializing in C/C++, Embedded Linux, IPC, multithreading and firmware. Currently at Viettel Hightech, working on real-world embedded systems for defense.
Graduated from the Advanced Program in Control Engineering & Automation at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (GPA 3.2/4.0). I started with robotics and image processing, then moved deeper into embedded systems programming — where hardware and software meet.
I focus on systems C/C++: POSIX threads, IPC, TCP/IP sockets, Protobuf and firmware for Embedded Linux. My working philosophy: understand the hardware, write clear code, measure instead of guessing, and always keep unit tests.
Outside work, I study real-time embedded system architecture, explore new protocols and read datasheets.

Embedded firmware on Embedded Linux for an FPGA-based electro-optical system (Gimbal, day/night camera, Laser Range Finder). POSIX multithreaded architecture, HPC communication over TCP/IP + Protobuf, FPGA access via mmap.
Embedded OTA client for the Jetson Orin NX ADAS device: the ota-clientd
daemon and otactl CLI in C++17, AF_UNIX IPC, firmware updates over
AWS S3/CloudFront, rollback, CI and static analysis, ARM64 cross-compilation.
A 30-person team at FPT Software: IPv6 Single Stack programming, fixing IPv4/IPv6 conflicts, writing customer documentation, contributing to V3/V4 driver development and bug fixing, unit tests with Google Test.

Developing Embedded Linux firmware (C/C++) for FPGA electro-optical systems. POSIX multithreading, TCP/IP sockets with Protobuf, IPC over Pipe and Message Queue, Gimbal/Camera/Lens/Laser control, watchdog and heartbeat mechanisms.
03/2026 — 06/2026
Designed the IPC layer and developed the OTA client for the Pyrenee Drive ADAS device on Jetson Orin NX. C++/Python code review, optimizing and debugging a large system, working on both client and server sides with AWS and CI/CD.

Worked on networking and the Konica Minolta printer driver project. IPv6 Single Stack programming, fixing IPv4/IPv6 conflicts, V3/V4 driver development, unit tests with Google Test and customer documentation.
09/2024 — 12/2024
Researched and applied CNN models to an AI-integrated IoT product. Tuned algorithms against customer data, deployed on Jetson Nano.

Programmed a maze-solving robot, built face recognition software on NVIDIA Jetson Nano, designed a smart home system with microcontrollers driving sensors, motors and speakers.
